What do we want? JUSTICE! When do we want it? 8th of May 2008

The HFM Week EMEA Awards are an annual event that honors the year’s most successful hedge fund managers. This year the event is being held at the Royal Courts of Justice in London and my brief was to create a look and feel for the whole event that could be carried right through from the logo, to the award screens on the night. The design was influenced initially by the event’s Victorian setting and the theme of justice. You can see an example of a few elements below – a banner ad, a double page spread and some pages from the brochure. Captive audience

The Captive Basic Workshop aims to teach people how to set up and manage a captive in the financial markets. If that means nothing to you – then that makes two of us. Pageant Media briefed us to design the overall branding, logo, pamphlet and banner ads. A few examples are below.

I recently finished designing a brochure for Mind’s Overseas Challenge Events. This will be sent out to everybody who has expressed an interest in participating, providing information and generating excitement for the adventure to be had. The events really do look excellent. Withnail and I and me

‘Withnail and I’ certainly makes it into my top ten films of all time list so I was excited to hear that the two stars – Richard E Grant and Paul McGann, were reuniting for the first time in over 20 years to make another film. As a fan, I was particularly pleased when the film makers approached me to design the Press Pack for it’s promotion at the London Film Festival as well as other international events.

I wanted to produce something to fit the off-centre style of the film and create a pack that would stand out from the competition. There’s a taster of the pack below and the finished product can be viewed here.
