Mind are launching a comedy night next month and briefed us to create a concept for the look and feel of the event, beginning with a logo. The logo had to work independently of the Mind insignia but still be clearly linked. We used the distinctive scribble element of the Mind brand within this new ident and gave it a topical relevance by converting it into a microphone lead. This established a visual connection while serving to demonstrate the nature of the event.
The next stage of the brief was to create a promotional poster that would expand on the identity, generate interest and be adaptable enough to work within different mediums such as newspaper ads, postcards etc. We provided three concepts which can be seen below. The top version is the approved final artwork:-
Tickets for the event are still available and all proceeds go towards the extremely important work that Mind do. To find out more and to book your tickets please click here.
Living Streets is an organisation that campaigns to create better streets and public spaces for people on foot. They briefed us to create a poster to encourage people to make a pledge to walk more often – either to work, picking up the kids, during lunch etc. It had to be eye-catching, colourful and persuasive. The result is below:-

I created this poster for Mind to publicise their Parachuting event.
